WHAT IS TELLINGTON TTOUCH
Tellington TTouch“ is a gentle, respectful, force free, powerful therapy used“ to“ work with companion animal to help them overcome a range of“ issues.“ TTouch was developed“ by Linda Tellington Jones in the 1980’s working with horses, then introduced to companion animal.“ “ TTouch was“ brought to the United Kingdom by Sarah Fisher around 10 years later.
TTouch Training is based on the“ inextricable link between body posture and behaviour, and includes body work (specific touches),“ ground work exercises“ and specific equipment to release tension and to promote a feeling of calm.“ This in turn helps animals develop self confidence and self control and enables them to move beyond their instinctive and, often fearful, responses.
The Tellington TTouch has a profound and potent effect on the nervous system and has a powerful influence on responses and mood. Even well established patterns of behaviour often alter within a very short space of time and the Tellington TTouch has even saved the lives of many animals whose behaviour has been deemed to be out of control.
